The Mass Golf Women’s Team Tournaments bring together women who share a passion for golf through friendly and competitive team tournaments held at beautiful golf courses throughout the state. A variety of formats include best ball, scotch, chapman, and four-ball tournaments that are open to golfers with a wide range of skill levels.
To ensure that competitors have the best experience possible when competing in a Mass Golf Tournament event, it is helpful to be knowledgeable of the Policies and Procedures established by the association.

CREATE A PLAYER PROFILE – begin the process of creating a player profile, if you’ve never created one
Format: 18 Holes. Teams of 2. Chapman Style format. Golfers both hit their tee shot. Then they hit their partner’s ball. For the third shot they select a ball and alternate shots into the hole.
Eligibility: Open to two women teams. Teams play in two separate divisions. Division 1 (Handicap Indexes up to 18.0) and Division 2 (Handicap Indexes 18.1 – 54.0). This is a first come, first served registration.
REGISTRATION CLOSED: Tuesday, April 26, 2022 at 5:00 PM
Format: 18 holes. Teams of 2. Scotch (Foursomes) Format. Players alternate what holes they drive on and then alternate shots on each hole.
Eligibility: Open to two women teams with both players having a handicap index of up to 54.0. This is a first come, first served registration.
REGISTRATION CLOSED: Tuesday, June 7, 2022 at 5:00 PM
Format: 18 Holes. Teams of 2. Stroke Play. 1 Best Ball of 2.
Eligibility: Open to two women teams with both players having a handicap index of 18.1 to 54.0. This is a first come, first served registration.

The Captains Golf Course (Starboard Course)
Format: 18 Holes. Individual Shamble Format.
Eligibility: Open to any golfer that identifies as a female golfer. *This is a first come, first served registration.
9:00 AM Shotgun Start
REGISTRATION CLOSED: Friday, August 5, 2022 at 12:00 PM
Format: 18 hole. Teams of 4. Stroke Play. 1 Best Ball of 4.
Eligibility: Registration by designated club contact only. Open to four women teams with all players having a handicap index up to 54.0. All players must have an active GHIN # at the same club. This is a first come, first served registration. Golfers only play one of the days in one of the shotguns.
*Important Note* All participants must have a player profile set up in order for the designated club contact to register them.
