Entries are open to amateur golfers who have an active Mass Golf/GHIN Handicap Index at any public, private, semi-private, municipal or non-real estate Mass Golf member course/club and will not reach their 14th birthday by midnight of July 16, 2018. 2017 Championship Highlights

At the 3rd annual Massachusetts Young Golfers’ Amateur Championship, held on July 19 at Needham Golf Club, a battle was brewing between several of the area’s top young golfers on the links, but it was Dedham’s Joseph Lenane (George Wright GC) who ended up atop the leaderboard at the end of the 18-hole modified Stableford tournament. The 13-year old accumulated a round high 56 points to take home the hardware for what is the newest MGA Championship specifically designed for the Bay State’s youngest golfers.
