Who is a Member of Mass Golf? Anyone with an established GHIN handicap index with one of our member clubs.
Below is a list of the primary benefits provided to you as a member of Mass Golf.
You’ll be joining more than 360 clubs and 87,000 golfers in the Bay State in support of the game of golf. You will also become part of the Golf Handicap Information Network (GHIN) which is the largest handicap management services in the world, serving more than 2.3 million golfers and 15,000 golf clubs.
Mass Golf provides a USGA/GHIN Handicap Index to all members. Handicap revisions take place daily, but an email update is sent to members on the 1st and 15th of every month.
In addition to posting your score at the computer scoring kiosk of the course you played, all members may post their scores by logging into their My Mass Golf Home Page at massgolf.org, the GHIN mobile app or ghin.com.
MassGolf.org features My Mass Golf Home, a section for players to access their handicap info and post scores. Championship, Qualifying and Member Day registration is also available.
Designed for golfers of all ages and playing abilities, Member Days are open to all Mass Golf Members. These one-day events offer access to great courses throughout the state for an affordable, casual and fun experience.
The Mass Golf Women’s Team Tournaments bring together and connect women who share a passion for golf through friendly & competitive team tournaments held at sites across the state.
Mass Golf’s digital news publication is delivered to your inbox each week. It includes the latest local, regional and national golf news that you want to know.
The award-winning Mass Golf Member’s magazine is sent in print and or digital formats directly to you four times each year. Designed for golfers in the Bay State, it includes news and info about golf in Massachusetts.
Our Members are offered exclusive discounts from Mass Golf sponsors including Club Champion, Imperial Headware, Tournament Solutions and many others. We also offer discounted opportunities for unique international golf trips.
As a way of celebrating this achievement, Mass Golf sends each Member a customized and distinctive bag tag and certificate that commemorates the accomplishment.
Each season, Mass Golf sponsors and conducts nearly 60 events and 18 major championships for juniors, seniors, men and women.
The First Tee of Massachusetts is an integral part of Mass Golf and its mission to introduce Bay State youth to its golf and life skills curriculum. Your support helps further that mission.
Mass Golf provides support and assistance for issues related to the Rules of Golf, amateur status, the World Handicap System and course rating.
