Mixed Four-Ball Championship for the Stone Cup

TBA

Format: 18-holes; Four-Ball Stroke Play (Gross & Net)

Eligibility:

  • Any two-person mixed team (male & female) of amateur golfers who have an active Mass Golf Membership.
  • Handicap Index® (per player) not exceeding 18.0 (at the time of registration).
  • Have played and posted 5 rounds at any Mass Golf member club/course within 12 months of the entry close date.

 

Registration for this event will NOT be first come, first served. The field will be selected “low-to-high”, based on the teams combined Handicap Index® as of the published entry close date.

Women's Stroke Play Championship for the Baker Trophy

TBA

Format: 36-holes; Individual Stroke Play in two separate divisions.

Players must select either the Championship Division or Tournament Division at the time of registration.

 

Eligibility:

  • Any female amateur golfer who has an active Mass Golf Membership.
  • Handicap Index® not exceeding 18.0 (at the time of registration).
  • Have played and posted 5 rounds at any Mass Golf member club/course within 12 months of the entry close date.

New England Women's Amateur

June 23 – 25 (Tue-Thur)

Format: 54-holes; Individual Stroke Play

Eligibility:

  • Any female amateur golfers who have an active GHIN Handicap Index at any member club of a New England State golf association.
  • Handicap Index® not exceeding 18.0 as determined by the June 6th, 2025, Handicap Revision.

Young Golfers' Amateur Powered By KOHR Golf

Format: 18-holes; Individual Stroke Play (Modified Stableford scoring)

Eligibility:

  • Any amateur golfers who have an active Mass Golf Membership.
  • Age 13 & Under

Girls' Junior Amateur Championship Powered By KOHR Golf

Format: Stroke Play followed by Match Play (16 Qualifiers); or Stroke Play only (depending on division)

Eligibility:

  • Any female amateur golfers who have an active Mass Golf Membership.
  • A Handicap Index® (at the time of registration) is required for the Championship & Silver Divisions.
  • Age 18 & under (additional division age restrictions may apply).
  • Have played and posted 5 rounds at any Mass Golf member club/course within 12 months of the entry close date.

Women's Four-Ball Championship for the Townshend Cup

Format: 18-holes; Four-Ball Stroke Play in two separate divisions.

Eligibility:

  • Any two-person team of female amateur golfers who have an active Mass Golf Membership.
  • Handicap Index® (per player) not exceeding 18.0 (at the time of registration).
  • Have played and posted 5 rounds at any Mass Golf member club/course within 12 months of the entry close date.

Women’s Amateur Championship

August 10 – 14 (Mon-Fri)
Oak Hill Country Club

Format: 36-Hole Stroke Play qualifier to Match Play (32 match play qualifiers).

Eligibility:

  • Any female amateur golfer who has an active Mass Golf Membership.
  • Handicap Index® not exceeding 10.0 (at the time of registration).
  • Have played and posted 5 rounds at any Mass Golf member club/course within 12 months of the entry close date.

New England Junior Amateur

Eligibility:

  • Invitational Event.
  • Selection process and criteria is determined by each state golf association.

 

Women’s Senior Amateur Championship

September 15 – 16 (Tues-Wed)

Blue Hill Country Club

Format: 36-holes; Individual Stroke Play in two separate divisions.

 

Eligibility:

  • Any female amateur golfer (age 50+) who has an active Mass Golf Membership.
  • Handicap Index® not exceeding 18.0 (at the time of registration).
  • Have played and posted 5 rounds at any Mass Golf member club/course within 12 months of the entry close date.

Women's Mid-Amateur Championship for the Keyes Cup

Format: 36-Holes; Individual Stroke Play in two separate divisions.

Eligibility:

  • Any female amateur golfer (age 25+) who has an active Mass Golf Membership.
  • Handicap Index® not exceeding 18.0 (at the time of registration).
  • Have played and posted 5 rounds at any Mass Golf member club/course within 12 months of the entry close date.

Format: 36-holes; Individual Stroke Play followed by the Tri-State Matches

Eligibility:

  • Any female amateur golfer who has an active Mass Golf Membership.
  • Handicap Index® not exceeding 17.0 (at the time of registration).
    • This is not a first come, first served registration. Entries will be selected by Handicap Index® (low to high) as of the September 16, 2026, revision date. 
  • Have played and posted 5 rounds at any Mass Golf member club/course within 12 months of the entry close date.

Clement A. Griscom Cup

May 27 – 28 (Wed-Thurs)
TPC Jasna Polana (Princeton, NJ)

The Clement A. Griscom Cup is an annual competition between the Women’s Golf Association of Philadelphia, the Women’s Metropolitan Golf Association (NY), and Mass Golf (formerly the Women’s Golf Association of Massachusetts). The event was first played as a three-city competition in 1902.

 

Junior Inter-City Team Matches

TBA

The Junior Inter-City Cup is an annual competition between the Women’s Golf Association of Philadelphia, the Women’s Metropolitan Golf Association (NY), and Mass Golf (formerly The Women’s Golf Association of Massachusetts).  The event was first played in 1955.
