NORTON, Massachusetts – In preparation for the competitive golf season, Mass Golf will have six USGA P.J. Boatwright interns during the summer to help coordinate and manage Mass Golf Championships, Tournaments, and Member Days. Interns also help current Mass Golf staff assist Mass Golf Members and fulfill their duties during the busy season.
“Mass Golf is incredibly excited to be welcoming a stellar group of interns for the 2020 season,” said Jesse Menachem, Mass Golf’s Executive Director/CEO. “The USGA P.J. Boatwright Internship Program is a vital part to Allied Golf Associations across the country and we are thrilled to have six on our staff.”

USGA P.J. Boatwright Internships
Many of these positions can be filled because of the USGA P.J. Boatwright Internship Program. In 2018 alone, the program assisted in filling 121 full-time positions for interns across 59 different allied golf organizations. The program was originally started in 1991 and is designed to allow individuals with an interest in golf administration to learn more about a prospective career. The program is also built to help state and regional golf associations in promoting amateur golf on a short-term, entry-level basis. Mass Golf currently employs six Boatwright interns.
