USGA P.J. Boatwright Internships
Many of these positions can be filled because of the USGA P.J. Boatwright Internship Program. In 2018 alone, the program assisted in filling 121 full-time positions for interns across 59 different allied golf organizations. The program was originally started in 1991 and is designed to allow individuals with an interest in golf administration to learn more about a prospective career. The program is also built to help state and regional golf associations in promoting amateur golf on a short-term, entry-level basis. Mass Golf currently employs six Boatwright interns.
