Originally scheduled to be played May 12 at The Cape Club, Mass Golf has decided to reschedule this event due to the ongoing spread of COVID-19.

New for 2020, the event is included in the Championships and Women’s Championships schedules. The field includes Mixed amateur pairs (male & female) who have an active Mass Golf/GHIN Handicap Index of 24.0 or less (per player) at any Mass Golf Member Club. The competition includes 18 holes of four-ball stroke play.

The winners receive the Stone Cup, which dates back to 1924 and is named after Katherine Stone of Oakley Country Club. Stone won the Association Championship in 1924 and also served on the USGA women’s committee. Past winners of the Cup include Mass Golf Hall of Fame member Pat Bradley, who won the event in 1971.

Refunds/Withdrawals: Players who have registered for the Mixed Four-Ball but cannot compete on October 21, should reach out directly to Matthew Killeen, Mass Golf’s Manager of Championships, by email: mkilleen@massgolf.org.
