Cayce Golf Headcover Collaboration with Mass Golf - MASSGOLF

For Immediate Release: APRIL 27, 2021

NORTON, Massachusetts – Mass Golf is pleased to announce a new partnership with local golf head cover manufacturer, Cayce Golf, introducing custom Mass Golf branded headcovers into their lineup for online purchase. As part of the new relationship, a portion of the sales from this collection will benefit Youth on Course, a program through Mass Golf that provides youth ages 6-18 with access to affordable rounds of golf across the Bay State.

The new Mass Golf driver headcover collection is available on the Cayce Golf website and offers five distinct driver headcover styles prominently featuring the Mass Golf shield. All headcovers are constructed with a long-lasting outer cover that is resistant to water, stains, mildew, and abrasions, plus a plush inner lining keeping the clubhead safe from dents and scratches.

“I’m thrilled to collaborate with the team at Mass Golf on this collection,” said Steve Balchunas, Founder of Cayce Golf. “We’ve created some great headcovers that will not only look sharp on the bag but have that greater purpose behind them.”

A Brockton native, Balchunas created the Massachusetts-based online retailer in 2018 with a focus on quality headcovers with unique designs that add personality to any golfer’s bag. Currently, Cayce Golf offers over 100 headcover designs for drivers, fairway woods, hybrids, and putters.

“Steve has a great talent in bringing brands to life through his designs, and what he has created in this collection is a real showcase of Mass Golf’s identity,” said Catherine Carmignani, Director of Communications and Marketing at Mass Golf.

Through this partnership, Cayce Golf has made a commitment to giving back to youth golf. For every Mass Golf-themed headcover sold, Cayce Golf will donate two Youth on Course memberships to junior golfers in Massachusetts.

“Mass Golf is fortunate to have such a supportive patron within our community that wishes to contribute towards our mission and vision in a new and exciting way,” Carmignani said. “We are eager to see these headcovers make it into the bags of as many Mass Golfers as possible, but the bigger impact will be felt through the generosity of Cayce Golf’s donation to our Youth on Course program.”

Into its third season in Massachusetts, Youth on Course has already had a positive impact on over 2,000 youth across the Bay State, and the number of participants is increasing. The national program brings affordable access to youth golfers ages 6-18 by allowing them to play at over 30 courses in Massachusetts and 1,400 courses nationwide for $5 or less.

“Youth on Course is such an amazing program, and to be able to help kids play more golf is incredibly important to me personally,” said Balchunas. “I’ve always wanted to contribute to growing the game like this but had never found the right opportunity. I finally have a vehicle with Cayce to do that.”

When junior golfers join Youth on Course through Mass Golf, they will also become a Mass Golf Member and receive the same great member benefits. The program also provides opportunities for young people to get the support they need to succeed through career prep, leadership and scholarship programs.
