Over A Dozen Massachusetts Golfers Have Committed To College Programs Across The Nation
With the start of the NCAA signing period on Wednesday, November 12, golfers across the country have begun signing their National Letters of Intent. This fall signing period for NCAA programs will remain open until August 1, 2026.
Meanwhile, several golfers from Massachusetts have already made at least a verbal commitment to the schools they plan to attend next year. This page will be updated as more Massachusetts golfers confirm their college commitments.

COLE ADAMS – MERRIMACK COLLEGE
Adams, a senior captain and graduate of Wellesley High School, helped lead his team to several top team finishes in MIAA competition, including the 2023 Division 1 South Sectional title. Adams, who competed in the 2025 Mass Open at Sacconnesset Golf Club, also won the club championship at Pocasset Golf Club this summer.

Tori Adams – Bentley University
Adams, a senior at Walpole High School, led her high school squad to victory in the 2025 Girls’ MIAA South Sectional Tournament, finishing tied for third. She represented Team Mass Golf in the 2025 Girls’ Junior Inter-City Matches, adding top-10 finishes in the U.S. Challenge Cup Wampanoag Classic (8th) and the Connecticut PGA Foundation Junior Open (6th).

MORGAN BARBUTO – ST. LAWRENCE University
Barbuto, a senior captain at Boston Latin, is a 3-time Dual County League All-Star and the junior club champion at George Wright Golf Course. Last summer, he made the cut in the Massachusetts Amateur Public Links Championship and, in 2024, won a pair of NEPGA events.

Jack Carew – Fairfield university
Carew, a senior at St. John’s Prep, won the 2025 AJGA FM Junior Championship presented by John D. Mineck Foundation at Chicopee Country Club and qualified for the 2025 U.S. Junior Amateur. The Newbury native also won the U.S. Challenge Cup’s Dale Smith Junior Stroke Play during the summer at Connecticut National GC & Quinnatisset CC.

Lauren Connor – bryant university
Connor, a senior at Westfield High School, won several Western Mass girls golf titles and has three U.S. Challenge Cup top-5 finishes between July 2024 and May 2025. She also won the 2024 Connecticut PGA Foundation Jr Open.

THOMAS CONSTANTINE – BRYANT UNIVERSITY
Constantine, a senior captain for the Xaverian Brothers High School golf team, led his squad to undefeated season and the 2025 MIAA Division 1 state championship. In the summer, he won both the 2025 Massachusetts Junior Amateur at his home club of Franklin CC and the Golfweek New England Junior Open at Ledgemont CC in Seekonk. He also has two top-5 and two top-10 finishes in U.S. Challenge Cup events since September 2024.

Hanley Correia – Stonehill college
Correia, a senior at Bishop Feehan High School, shot 74 to earn individual medalist honors in the 2025 Girls’ MIAA South Sectional Tournament. She also led Bishop Feehan’s girls squad to a team title in its first year (2023). In the summer, the Norton native earned a runner-up finish in the 2025 Rhode Island Junior Amateur (girls division), adding a top-5 finish in the Golfweek New England Junior Open, and placing seventh in the New England Junior Amateur.

Cole Daniello – Dickinson College
Daniello, a senior captain at Thayer Academy, has competed for many years on the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour. The Cohasset native placed T2 in the Palm Beach Junior Open back in January. Since 2023, he has worked in golf services at Sankaty Head Golf Club on Nantucket.

JAKE DOHERTY – Binghamton University
Doherty, a Bolton native who attends The Hotchkiss School (CT), won the 2024 New England Junior Open at Ponkapoag GC with another NEPGA Junior Tour victory at Beverly Golf & Tennis Club. This summer, he qualified for the Mass Amateur for the first time and qualified for the Mass Junior Amateur by making four birdies over his final five holes.

Hailey Flynn – Union College
Flynn, a senior at Duxbury High School, led her high school squad to a Patriot League title and fourth-place finish overall in the 2025 MIAA Girls Golf State Championship. She also captured a handful of 2nd and 3rd place finishes on the NEPGA Jr. Tour. Flynn is also a standout player on Duxbury’s girls basketball team.

Leopaul Gamelin – Belmont Abbey College
Gamelin, a senior at Blackstone Valley Tech, shares medalist honors at D2 Central golf tourney. The Douglas native won the 2025 Maine Junior Tour one-day event at Dutch Elm GC, followed by a second-place finish in the NEPGA Junior Tour event at Tatnuck CC. He also placed third in the 2025 Doral Publix Jr Classic qualifier. Fun fact: He was named after his great-grandfather. The ‘e’ in his last name is also silent.

Mackinley Garcia – E. Connecticut State
Garcia, a senior at Bishop Feehan High School, won the 2025 Attleboro Area Golf Association High School Shootout at Heather Hill CC, placing top 20 in the Attleboro Area Open. In April, he also placed T2 in the Scott Robinson Memorial Sectional Qualifier at Montaup CC (RI).

Zachary Georgantas – Providence College
Georgantas, a senior at Foxboro High School, has been a cornerstone of the program as a three-year captain, winning the 2024 MIAA Division 2 State Championship individual title, with a second-place finish in 2025. This fall, he claimed individual medalist honors at the Division 2 MIAA South Sectional and added another marquee win at the Cape Cod National High School Invitational. A Foxboro CC club champion, he was also named the 2025 Hockomock League MVP.

Colin Gleason – Bryant University
Gleason, a senior captain at Barnstable High School, has won the Cape & Islands Golf Championship two consecutive years. Gleason won the Pre-Junior Division of the Massachusetts Junior Amateur in 2023, making it to the quarterfinals of the event in 2024 & 2025. He also finished second in the 2025 U.S. Challenge Cup Championship.

Eli Hamelsky – LEHIGH UNIVERSITY
Hamelsky, who attends Beaver County Day School in Newton, is a member of the Team Massachusetts (U.S. National Development Program). Last year, he won the 2024 Eastern Independent League Championship and the U.S. Challenge Cup’s Foon Cup at Ledgemont Country Club. He also placed 7th in the AJGA Coca-Cola Junior Championship at Sugarloaf.

TREY HANSON – St. Lawrence University
Hanson, a senior at Governor’s Academy is Byfield, qualified for match play in the the 2025 Massachusetts Junior Amateur, shooting 4-under-par 68 in the second round to finish T8 in stroke play. The Topsfield native and member of Salem Country Club also placed 7th in the Sandy Burr Junior Open, hosted by the Hurricane Junior Golf Tour.

Kyle Harsh – Bates College
Harsh, a senior captain at Dexter Southfield School, won the 2025 Amateur Invitational at New England Country Club and advanced to the quarterfinals of the 2025 Massachusetts Junior Amateur Championship at Franklin Country Club. He also won the 2024 U.S. Challenge Cup Junior Match Play Championship and played in the U.S. Amateur Four-Ball Championship with Dexter Southfield teammate Patrick Friel. Additionally, he earned a T2 finish at the 2025 Independent International Invitational. He will also play for the men’s squash team at Bates.

Ryan Kelley – Assumption university
Kelley, a senior at Shrewsbury High School, helped his squad win the Division 1 Central championship. The Shrewsbury native also earned two Hurricane Junior Golf Tour top-5 finishes in 2025 along with a top-5 and top-10 finish in U.S. Challenge Cup competition since June 2024.

Rebecca Kriegsman – Bates College

GAVIN LANE – GEORGETOWN UNIVERSITY
Lane, a senior at Roxbury Latin, finished runner-up at the U.S. Challenge Cup’s Providence Open, adding a 6th-place showing at the Wampanoag Classic. He also advanced to the Round of 16 in the 2024 Massachusetts Amateur and the Massachusetts Junior Amateur.

Peier Li – WESLEYAN UNIVERSITY
Li, a senior captain at Westford Academy, competed in the MIAA Division 1 state championship in the fall and was selected as part of the 2025 Lowell Sun High School Golf All-Star Team. He also has several top finishes in U.S. Challenge Cup events, including runner-up in the 2024 Computer Merchant Junior Match Play and 3rd in the 2025 Challenge Cup Junior Invitational.

Michael McGrath – Trinity College
McGrath, who attended Pope Francis Prep, qualified for match play in the 2025 Mass Amateur and the 2025 Mass Junior Amateur, placing 4th overall in stroke play in the latter. A native of Wilbraham and member of Country Club of Wilbraham, McGrath also earned a top-5 and top-10 finish in U.S. Challenge Cup competition.

Jason Silva – Hofstra University
Silva, a two-year captain for the King Philip High School, competing in every high school match for all four years. He lead the squad to three Hockomock League titles and two conference tournament victories, finishing T9 individually in the 2025 MIAA Division 1 state championship. He also had a top-10 finish in the Challenge Cup Nutmeg Championship and a Top 15 in the Challenge Cup Ocean State Classic.

Maddie smith – university of memphis
Maddie Smith, a senior at Westford Academy, put together a phenomenal 2025 season, capturing the New England Women’s Amateur title and the individual and team titles as the New England Junior Amateur, each coming down to a playoff. The Westford native and member of Team Massachusetts (U.S. National Development Program) also won her second Mass Girls’ Junior Amateur title (also 2023) and was second overall in the Ouimet Memorial Tournament.

Briah Uhlman – ST. ANSELM COLLEGE
Uhlman, a senior at Barnstable High School, was named a Cape and Islands League All-Star and placed fourth overall in the Cape Cod High School Girls’ Championship at Cranberry Valley Golf Course in Harwich and earned 12th individually in the 2025 MIAA Division 1 South Sectional Tournament.

Cole Velardo – Salisbury University
Velardo, a senior captain at Masconomet Regional High School, won the Division 2 North sectional individual title as a junior in 2024. That year he also had seven top-5 finishes in NEPGA one-day tournaments. A Middleton native and member on Ferncroft Country Club, Velardo also logged a pair of top-10 finishes in the United States Challenge Cup Bay State Shootout at Ledgemont Country Club.
Champa Visetsin – Stonehill College
Visetsin, a senior at Lincoln-Sudbury High School, is a three-time qualifier for the Drive, Chip & Putt National final at Augusta National. Also a part of Team Massachusetts (U.S. National Development Program), she represented Mass Golf in Junior Inter-City Team Matches (2022, 2023, 2024) Challenge Cup Invitational. She also placed 2nd in the 2024 U.S. Challenge Cup Invitational and 4th in the Marina Alex Girls Tradition tournament.

LUCY WANG – middlebury college
Wang, a student at Middlesex School in Concord, won the 2025 Pippy O’Connor Independent School Girls Golf Classic. A native of North Billera, Wang also made the quarterfinals of the 2025 Massachusetts Girls’ Junior Amateur and was 9th in the AJGA Junior at Toftrees Golf Resort in Pennsylvania. She also received the 2023 UGSA-AJGA Presidents’ Leadership Award.
