BOSTON, Massachusetts (October 5, 2026) – Oakley Country Club’s women kept the Fall Cup title in their possession Monday, winning the championship at William J. Devine Golf Course at Franklin Park for their third title in four years.
Oakley’s three pairings combined for a gross score of 245, finishing six strokes clear of the nearest challenging team from Acushnet River Valley. Janet Krevolin and Lindsay Graham led the way with an 80, followed by Jill Barres and Sharon Hayes with an 82. Thalia Meehan and Christina Brownell rounded out the winning effort with an 83.
Established in 2009, the Fall Cup begins with three September matches among six-woman teams representing Mass Golf Member Clubs throughout the state. Clubs compete in four-team regional divisions, with regional winners advancing to the one-day, 18-hole championship contest.
Monday’s final shifted from four-ball match play to four-ball stroke play, with gross and net titles at stake. The clubs fielded up to three two-player pairings, counting the better score on each hole and combining all three rounds for its team total.
