The List: Holiday Golf Gift Guide

By: Nia Fredrich

The holidays can sure be stressful when it comes to gifting to others, but in the spirit of giving, here are a few item ideas for the golfer in your life! I’m also notorious for shopping last minute, so a majority of these items can be found with free 2-day shipping or in-store pick up options near you. Happy gifting!

Merchandise for their favorite golf event

Even better if it’s paired with some tickets for the upcoming event. The 2024 U.S. Open merchandise selection is already spectacular in all categories, the bucket hat is always a safe bet, or a solid hooded sweatshirt so they can sport it off the course.

A refresh of their favorite golf shoes before next season

I can’t tell you the last time I had a desire to replace my own golf shoes, though I have thought about it a lot. Getting them gifted is always a great way to get something you already love.

For men, my favorite style is the contour casual from Foot Joy. For women, a nice clean pair of the traditional style shoe always looks great on the course.

For the snowbird in your life…

Or for the off-season golf trip you may have planned, a travel bag for clubs is a wonderful gift idea. This travel bag from Titleist even has a spot for shoes!

A custom hat that they can wear during their best rounds

I am a firm believer that the best gifts are those that are well thought out for the person you are giving them to. No matter the price, if someone really thinks about me while picking out a gift, it’s so much more meaningful. Imperial hats not only is known for their incredible rope hats, but they offer a Design You Own option where you can choose a color and logo from a large variety. This gift is so personal and completely customizable.

For the female golfer in your life

A “sunday golf bag” as they call it

Short courses and par-3s have become increasingly popular as the game of golf grows, in return, the USGA and R&A have recognized this and added a new change to the World Handicap System that will allow for these courses to be rated and rounds can count toward your handicap. With these changes coming in the new year, a perfect gift for the player in your life that prefers time on the short course is a small carry golf bag.

On my personal wishlist..

My career in golf actually began in the bag room of my local country club, so I spent hours folding and unfolding push carts and cleaning clubs. As I continue to grow my love of the game I really want to refresh my gear. Hands down the clicgear push cart found at the PGA Tour Superstore is exactly what can be found on my holiday wishlist. This cart condenses wonderfully for on the go golfers and the design avoids your bag from rubbing on the front wheel.

Get them in the groove in the off season

Two items that have been on my personal wish list of golf equipment are for at home practice as I get back in the game. Also making for perfect gifts for off season practice, this indoor putting mat is great for any space and allows anyone to get in a few strokes on their own time. This deluxe golf net is another item, can be versatile for the space available as they come in a ton of different sizes, but it’s also a great way to encourage the golfer in your life to keep up with their hobby even in the winter months.
