ABOUTMothers should grab their son of any age for this 18-hole state-wide tournament that features a selected drive, alternate shot format. Golfers with handicap indices of 36 or lower can compete in divisions that are determined by the age of the son. Sons are not required to have a handicap index to compete but they do need a GHIN number.
Mothers/Grandmothers/Sons/Grandsons are welcome to participate. Entries are open to amateur golfers who have an active Mass Golf/GHIN Handicap Index at any public, private, semi-private, municipal or non-real estate Mass Golf member course/club not exceeding 36.0.0 – (as determined by the July 1, 2019 Handicap Revision), or who have completed their handicap certification. Please contact Mass Golf if you have a junior who needs a GHIN index.
Division 1: Sons 19 years and older.
Division 2: Sons 14 to 18 years old.
Division 3: Sons 13 years and younger – 9 holes only.
Players must have played and posted five (5) rounds at any Mass Golf member course/club within 12 months of the specified Handicap Revision.
