Eligibility
- In order to be eligible to receive Mid-Amateur Player of the Year points, players must:
- Compete in at least one Mass Golf sponsored event included in the point system (including Mass Golf qualifiers)
- Have an active Mass Golf Membership
- Be 25 years of age or older
- Any points earned before a Mass Golf Membership becomes active and/or before a player turns 25 years of age will not be counted.
Point System Details
- The Mid-Amateur Player of the Year will be awarded to the Mid-Am player with the highest cumulative point total on the Richard D. Haskell Player of the Year standings.
The final decision of the Mid-Amateur Player of the Year award will be approved by the Mass Golf Board of Directors.
The Mass Golf Championship Committee is responsible for the oversight and review of the Player of the Year point system(s). Any updates or modifications will be considered on a bi-annual basis, unless otherwise needed.
