Join the Mass Golf Team in 2019: Full-time & Summer Internships Now Posted

NORTON, Massachusetts – With the 2018 Massachusetts golf season in the rear view mirror and the attention of those in the industry turned to preparation for next season, Mass Golf is happy to announce that it is currently seeking candidates for both full-time and summer internship positions for the 2019 season.

Here are links to the current positions that will provide you with an opportunity to experience work in all aspects of golf administration for the 2019 season.

Manager of New England Golf Association (NEGA) Operations & USGA Qualifying (Application Deadline: 12/28/18)
Responsible for the management and administration of the New England Golf Association (NEGA) operations
and all USGA Qualifying events for Mass Golf.

Manager of Member Events & Services (Application Deadline: 12/14/18)
Responsible for management, administrative functions and support of Mass Golf Members and Member Clubs in all areas relating to Mass Golf tournaments and events. Assists the Member Services team with all Member and Member Club related programs, services and activities.

Manager of Championships (Application Deadline: 12/14/18)
Responsible for operational support and administrative assistance of the Mass Golf Championship Department.

2019 P.J. Boatwright, Jr. Internships – Mass Golf
Mass Golf internship opportunities available include one (1) 9+ month and one (1) 3+ month position in the Mass Golf Championship & Tournament Department, one (1) 6+ month position in Women’s Tournaments & Events, one (1) 3+ month position in the Mass Golf Member Services Department and one (1) 3+ month position in the Mass Golf Communications Department.

Through the successful USGA P.J. Boatwright Internship program, Mass Golf will be offering five positions across its championship and tournament department, its member services department and its communications department in various lengths to help the day-to-day operations of Mass Golf, one of 59 allied golf associations under the umbrella of the United States Golf Association. In 2018, the Boatwright Internship program helped place 121 interns as full time staff members at all 59 allied golf associations and offered direct exposure to managing all aspects of the game, including conducting competitions, junior golf programs and supporting membership initiatives.

The five Mass Golf internship opportunities available include one (1) 9+ month and one (1) 3+ month position in the Mass Golf Championship & Tournament Department, one (1) 6+ month position in Women’s Tournaments & Events, one (1) 3+ month position in the Mass Golf Member Services Department and one (1) 3+ month position in the Mass Golf Communications Department.
