Mass Golf Welcomes Danielle Pourbaix As Chief Administrative Officer - MASSGOLF

Ouimet Scholar, Former USGA Boatwright Intern Joining Mass Golf Staff

NORTON, Massachusetts (August 28, 2025) – Mass Golf, the state golf association for Massachusetts, has announced that Danielle Pourbaix will join the staff as the Chief Administrative Officer, a newly created role designed to strengthen the association’s administrative, human resources, and operational infrastructure.

With more than 20 years of experience in the golf industry, the Walpole native brings seasoned leadership and a strong track record of enhancing organizational efficiency and driving growth. In this new role, she will support operations at both Mass Golf and The Links at Mass Golf, marking a homecoming to Golf House in Norton, the facility serves as home to the state’s top amateur golf organizations.

“Danielle’s depth of experience and longtime connection to Golf House make her the perfect person to champion these initiatives and guide our expanding team into the future,” said Jesse Menachem, Mass Golf’s Executive Director/CEO. “Having grown up in this community and contributed to the game in so many ways, Danielle offers a unique perspective on organizational development and will play a key role in enhancing our operations while continuing to deliver exceptional value to our membership and partners.”

Pourbaix’s deep connection to Golf House began in 2005 when she was named a Ouimet Scholar while attending UMass Amherst. She later served as a USGA P.J. Boatwright Intern in 2010 and spent five years at the Ouimet Fund, where she worked in alumni relations and development, helping to organize marquee events such as the Ouimet Annual Banquet.

Her career includes leading fundraising initiatives at Mass General Brigham and earning her MBA from the Isenberg School of Management at UMass. Most recently, she spent five years at Walpole Country Club, serving as General Manager for the past two years, where she strengthened operations, improved communications, and expanded revenue opportunities. There, she gained a deep understanding of every facet of club management, enhancing communications, expanding revenue opportunities, and fostering the camaraderie and energy that make Walpole one of the state’s most active clubs.

“I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity to return to Mass Golf and continue building my career in the industry,” Pourbaix said. “This truly feels like a full-circle moment, and I’m excited to contribute to an organization I know and respect so deeply. I look forward to working alongside this talented team to support Mass Golf’s mission and strengthen its impact across the state.”

In this new position, Pourbaix will oversee all administrative functions, business operations, and facilities management for both Mass Golf and The Links at Mass Golf. She will serve as a trusted advisor to Mass Golf’s senior leadership, focusing on strategic growth, compliance, and process enhancements. Her responsibilities will span human resources initiatives, professional development programs, and employee engagement efforts, while also managing infrastructure needs, technology systems, vendor partnerships, and office operations.

Additionally, she will lead strategic projects, events, and meetings to ensure the organization continues to operate at the highest level of efficiency and service to its staff and members.
