Championship Online Registration Goes Live Today

For Immediate Release: FEBRUARY 1, 2018

NORTON, Massachusetts – In preparation for the start of the 2018 major championship season,online registration for all Championships and Women’s Championships will go live today – February 1st – at 10:00 a.m. At that time, interested participants will be able to log into the new MassGolf.org site and register for any of the major state-wide championships that will be held at courses across the state.

To help competitors navigate the new site – which was introduced on January 1st to coincide with the official merger between the Massachusetts Golf Association and Women’s Golf Association of Massachusetts – Mass Golf has provided the following step-by-step guide on how competitors can register online.

A Look Ahead: Online registration for all Member Days, Women’s Tournaments and Team Tournaments will go live on Thursday, March 1, 2018 at 10:00 a.m.

Step #1 Log In

Visit MassGolf.org and input your login credentials after clicking the “Member Login” button located at the top right of the home page.

Once logged into your home page, click the Event Registration icon and then select Championships.

Select & Register

An online registration link will appear to the right for all Championships – in chronological order – that you are eligible for based on the most recent handicap revision. On that page you can also view 2018 New England Golf Association (NEGA) events and USGA qualifiers being held locally using the toggle options located at the top of the page. Please note that registration for all USGA and NEGA must be processed on the respective association web sites.

Secure Payment

After agreeing to the terms and conditions of championship play, you can use the one-page form to input your credit card and billing information before clicking “Next” at the bottom of the page to complete the transaction.

The online form used to collect credit card information uses SSL (Secure Socket Layer) technology which is an encrypted network layer responsible for ensuring security of your personal information over the open Internet. Mass Golf does not store or manage any credit card information directly. If you have any questions regarding security on the MassGolf.org website, please contact keldridge@massgolf.org.

Upon completion of the payment process, you will see an online confirmation message on screen and will receive an email confirmation.

Manage Registrations

All of your registrations will now be visible whenever you log into your My Mass Golf Home. After clicking the Event Registration icon, you will see a historical record of your Mass Golf registrations.
