Mass Golf Qualifiers:

  • As qualifying spots become available, you will be AUTOMATICALLY promoted off the waitlist (if more than 72 hours before the event). If you can no longer play in the event, please notify Steven Yatrousis as soon as possible and a full refund will be processed upon request.
    • If less than 72 hours before the event – you will be contacted directly and given 24 hours to confirm your entry before the next competitor is contacted.
  • All qualifying site waitlists can be viewed on the applicable Golf Genius event portal.

Mass Golf Championships Proper:

  • Once the field is full, players/teams will be able to register for the waitlist and will be added to the waitlist in the order waitlist entries are submitted.
  • When registering for a waitlist – payment information will be required, but your credit card WILL NOT BE CHARGED until a spot is confirmed.
  • When a spot becomes available, a member of the Mass Golf staff will contact you to confirm your availability. Waitlist players/teams will have up 48 hours (or less, given time constraints) to confirm their entry.

FOUR-BALL CHAMPIONSHIP(S) REGISTRATION & WAITLIST PROCESS

(this applies to the Four-Ball Championship, Women’s Four-Ball Championship, Senior Four-Ball Championship and Mixed Four-Ball Championship)

All registrations for the Four-Ball Championships mentioned above are no longer be first come, first served. Registration is now based on the low-to-high index selection process outlined below:

  • When entries open – all eligible teams – will be able to submit a “pending registration” for the championship proper. Please note that this “pending registration” DOES NOT guarantee you a spot in the championship proper and your status for the event will not be confirmed until entries close.
    • When submitting a “pending registration” payment information will be required, but your credit card WILL NOT BE CHARGED until your team is confirmed.
  • On the published entry close date, all team/competitor Handicap Indexes® will be updated (based on the entry close date handicap revision). Teams will then be ordered low-to-high (based on Handicap Indexes®) and selected for the championship proper until the maximum field size is met.
    • Any team not selected for the championship will be placed on a waitlist based of the final low-to-high Handicap Index® ranking.
  • All selected teams will then be charged the applicable entry fee and will receive a confirmation email, confirming their spot in the championship proper.
    • After being selected, any team requiring a partner change may be permitted to do so, as long as the teams combined handicap index remains at or below the established low-to-high cutoff at the time entries closed.
  • All waitlisted teams will be notified of their waitlist status which will be available on the Golf Genius event portal.
  • EXEMPT TEAMS ONLY – upon the receipt of a “pending registration” ahead of the published entry close date, all exempt teams will be confirmed/guaranteed a spot in the championship.
