The 115th Massachusetts Open Championship is beings hosted by Sacconnesset Golf Club in Falmouth, Massachusetts for the second time in its history (previously 2017). This event is the only Mass Golf championship that features both professional and amateur golfers (144 players total) and has a professional purse ($75,000). Brandon Berry (Great Falls, VA), who won the 2024 title at Willowbend with an eagle on the par-5 18th, is not returning to defend his title.
Beginning in 1905 with Donald Ross’ victory at Vesper Country Club, the Mass Open has provided some of the most defining moments in Massachusetts golf history. The event will take place over three days of competition featuring the region’s top professional and amateur golfers.
